Derek Jacob Harder got into a fight with his father and his town years ago.  He left to become a homeless wanderer like so many others did after the Viet Nam War.  But years later he found himself in a Gospel Rescue Mission in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Something he hadn't planned on happened there.  God told him it was time to go back home!  He bought a ticket and boarded a bus to Minco . . . only to find that re-entering normal society was fraught with many unexpected challenges and obstacles.
