THE CABIN IN THE WOODS: COLLECTED POEMS, III Is Finished and Available!
Like volumes I and II this collection draws upon much of my own Christian (and other) life experiences or observations. Unlike the first two volumes this book contains a number of poems I wrote going all the way back to the 1980s (with a cluster of poems from the autumn of 1998 to the early years of the new century). Most of these were rough, so I reworked them as needed. I write in iambic pentameter, balanced rhyming, and free verse. My poetry from twenty years ago was greatly influenced by the style of Gerard Manley Hopkins, though I admittedly never approached his style or quality.
