Angels Draw Near Yet Again!

In my newest book I have drawn upon old memories of my younger brother's death from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I did not write this book to suggest that this cancer can always be cured; nor did I write it to suggest that sincere prayers to God are always answered the way we might want. But I wanted to capture the struggle of a cancer patient himself who is a young man of little faith. Jerry Thompson experiences what life is like as the disease progresses and his close Christian friends become even closer and more supportive of him in his difficulties. Oh yes, and like the title says, angels are involved! Set in the Advent and Christmas seasons of 2018 readers will find this a contemporary faith-and-romance read. Here's the summary of it from the product page:

Jerry Thompson was a young adolescent about to begin his junior year in his Amarillo, Texas Christian High School. Like many sixteen-year-olds he was awkward in his relationships but found a special fondness for a dear childhood friend, Amanda Blake. In the midst of their struggle about where this relationship should head or how it should develop Jerry is diagnosed with

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma! Though he was a young man of little faith, his faith grows as others pray for him and help him carry the burden of this deadly illness. Oh yes, and angels are involved in the story which is set during the Advent and Christmas seasons of 2018.
