THE LONELY HEART gets a face life AND a New, Lower Price!
Every author has to admit this: each new (or old!) book represents an episode of love. As we write we fall in love with our characters and the story of their lives we are telling. So much is this the case that it is not unusual for an author to return to an earlier work to read through it again. I have recently done that with The Lonely Heart: An Impossible Love. This book was inspired by a few scenes at my younger son's wedding back in 2016. Those real events became the seed that grew an entire story of an unlikely romance. In my recent read-through I made a few changes to diction here and there (but not many!), and I gave the work a new cover picture (See below). Since the book is nearing its third year in existence I also lowered the price of the hard cover edition by fifty cents. On this journey back through the book I was struck by how 'what goes around comes around.' For if I accomplished nothing else in writing Lonely Heart I at least brought sense and resolution to the chaos with which the book begins. Well, that's my opinion anyway! Enjoy!
