THE PILGRIM'S DESTINATION Re-Read, Retread

HOWDY OUT THERE IN QUARANTINE LAND! Every year during Lent and on into Easter I read books pertaining to the story of Jesus Christ and the last weeks of his life. This year I read two of them: one by Lewis Wallace, Ben Hur: A Tale of Christ; and one by me, The Pilgrim's Destination: The Story of a Man's Search For Christ. The first one was published in the 19th century, and I began reading it for the third time in late January (it's long!). It's about a Jewish prince who lives during the early decades of the first century, A. D. He is wrongly accused of attacking the new Roman Governor, and sent away into bitter slavery. The second book (written in 2016) is one I just like to read from time to time, because it is in part a story of my own life. My journey to Jesus Christ and faith in Him included digressions, wrong turns, and detours to gaze at the scenery along the way. But I got there finally! Or it might be better to say, God found a way to get me there. This is the story of a man who makes his journey in the clarity of a very vivid dream. He eventually witnesses the crucifixion of Jesus and gets to visit the empty tomb on the first day of the week. In this third edition I corrected a few diction errors (as I thought), and improved chapter and heading titles while I was at it. It's still a low price and is available as a Kindle book too.
